About Therapy

In our experience, there is often a time in a person’s life where the benefits of therapy can be helpful to navigate life’s challenges. As well as a place of healing, therapy can provide a environment of self-discovery and solutions. About Us

Karin L. Miller, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Wellness & Healing Counseling Services was founded in 2020 by Karin L. Miller, Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Karin graduated from the University of Phoenix with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and received her master’s degree from Simmons College in clinical social work. She has 5+ years of experience in the mental health field. Her approach to therapy is to meet the client where they are, to create an environment of safety, and to facilitate the process of exploration, healing, and growth. Karin has clinical experience in working with individuals who may be dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, and trauma.

It is her belief that all individuals possess and hold within themselves the answers or solutions they need for their lives and that therapy can provide the tools and the healing necessary to identify what they are. She strives to inspire individuals to step into their worth, to connect with themselves, others, and the world, and to embrace their authenticity with confidence. Karin has advanced training in EMDR therapy, child-centered play therapy, CBT, solution-focused, experiential and other modalities. In Karin’s spare time she enjoys time with her grown children and husband, the outdoors, and learning.

Due to COVID-19, preventive measures and protocols are in place to ensure the safety of both the client and therapist. Teletherapy is being offered at this time for individuals who prefer to meet over the internet.

Current insurance plans accepted include PEHP, DMBA, and Optum. Will be accepting other insurance plans shortly.
